We are a manufacturer and wholesale distributor of canned goods, dry packaged foods, and fresh frozen pasta. We produce under our own brands and under our partners' labels, and we sell to the people who put food on shelves, on menus, and in the hands of families who need it.
Onyx Provisions is a new company built by people who are not new to this. Between us we bring 37 years of experience in food manufacturing and wholesale distribution: sourcing, production, packaging, cold chain, and the unglamorous logistics that decide whether a truck arrives on the day it said it would.
That experience is why we can start a conversation with a buyer at the level buyers actually care about, which is reliability.
We produce shelf-stable and frozen product to recipe and to spec, for our own brands and for the partners whose labels we pack. Product development, formulation, and packaging all happen inside the same conversation, so a change in one is not a surprise in another.
We sell wholesale to retailers, foodservice, restaurant groups, distributors, and food banks. Buyers deal with one relationship across all three categories rather than reassembling an order from three suppliers who have never spoken to each other.
Anyone can win an order once. The work is in the second one, and the twentieth: the same recipe, the same fill, the same case count, arriving when it was promised. We would rather be the supplier a buyer stops thinking about than the one they have to manage.
